For me, fitness is about quality of life!  I want to be able to get down on the floor and wrestle with my grandkids!  I want to be able to summit mountains into my retirement years!  I want to hike and ski and fish and most of all…. I want to beat my son Cody in a CrossFit WOD on his 18th birthday;) 

For years, I was your typical “gym rat”.  Back and bi day, chest and tri day, leg day, repeat.  I found the CrossFit main site back in 2005 and began to occasionally incorporate WODS into my normal routine.  I remember very clearly that my very first CrossFit workout was “Helen”.  Even though I was in “great shape”… that workout took me nearly 22 minutes and kicked my tail!  Today I’m over a decade older, but well over twice as fast!  Thanks CrossFit!! 

Over the last few years, I completely scrapped my old workout routine and started doing CrossFit every day!  Not only have I seen amazing fitness gains, I have also gained a CrossFit family!  Unlike the days of quiet solitary workouts with my headphones plugged in… CrossFit has introduced me to a community of likeminded friends!  For me, coaching is an opportunity to get to share what I’ve learned with my CrossFit family!  I love helping the people I love reach their personal goals!  I love sharing this gift of CrossFit!
